Join the solution. Join the FIGHT!!! If you care about your future and your profession you must get involved. Your law-enforcement training and experience have taught you how to protect yourself, your fellow officers, and citizens from criminals. Some of those criminals want nothing more than to do harm to an officer.

An overwhelming majority of Americans oppose taking away some of the collective bargaining rights that public employee unions now have and almost as many oppose cutting the pay or benefits of those workers, according to a nationwide New York Times/CBS News poll conducted Feb. 24-27.
LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES
The FOP strongly supports this legislation, which would guarantee the right of public employees to bargain collectively with their employers over hours, wages and conditions of employment.
Chuck Canterbury, National President of the Fraternal Order of Police, announced that one of the FOP's top legislative priorities, H.R. 1789 the "State and Local Law Enforcement Discipline, Accountability and Due Process Act," has been re-introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives

The FOP strongly supports a "bill of rights" for law enforcement officers who are, in a number of jurisdictions, denied their due process rights by police administrators and management in noncriminal proceedings.
Colorado's FOP was successful in getting its Colorado "Blue Alert" legislation passed this year. There are currently ten states that have enacted this legislation. What we need now is......
